But our connection with the Adriatic Sea has begun much earlier. Valter has been a passionate scuba diver, fishing and exploring the depths of the Adriatic Sea since his teenage years. Gliding through the water with the fins on his feet, weightlessly discovering the hidden treasures of the underwater world – it was a call he answered without hesitation.

Established in 2002, Rent a boat Umag is the result of a desire to share the unspoiled beauty and the unique freedom that can only be experienced at sea. This family-owned business, run by Valter and his oldest son Luca, is truly and inseparably connected to the Adriatic Sea.

Both Valter and Luca obtained their skipper licenses long before they could drive a car. A journey to the remote island of Lastovo, Croatia’s most distant inhabited island, is one of their most memorable adventures on their motorboat.
